Islam Awareness Week seeks to promote a positive understanding of Islam and hopes to build and strengthen connections and relationships within the university community for the promotion and recognition of Muslim North Americans. Below are the events that we will be having in Islam Awareness Week: Monday, September 22nd - Thursday, September 25th.

4th Annual Ramadan Dinner posted Tue, 16th Sep '08

The Weber State University's Muslim Student Association invites you to the 4th Annual Ramadan Dinner and break fast with us on Thursday, September 25th, 2008. For those who pledge to fast, there will be a FREE DINNER at 6:30 PM in the Ballroom A, Union Building. We hope to see all of you come out! The event will have books for sale, henna tattoos, prizes for those who can answer questions about Islam and much more! (more)

An information table where people will be provided with a living example of Islam and Muslims and literature about Islam. This table will be at the Atrium, Union Building every day from 9 AM - 1 PM, Monday September 22nd to Thursday September 25th. (more)

Come watch this spectacular movie called "The Message: Muhammed the Messenger of God". This movie will be shown on Wednesday, September 24th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wildcat Theater, Union Building. (more)

"Muslims" - A Documentary posted Tue, 16th Sep '08

This incisive documentary will be shown at the Wildcat Theater on the first day of the Islam Awareness Week. It explores the culture, practices and belief systems of Muslims (the world's most populous group). (more)
